Itinerary:
Morning: To kick off the journey, our tour guide will pick you up directly from your hotel.

After a roughly 2-hour drive from Saigon, we’ll reach the port where we’ll embark on a leisurely cruise along the Tien River. This cruise will take us to explore four islets, each representing mythical animals in Southeast Asia: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix.

Next, a boat ride on the Mekong River will lead us to the simple and rustic world of the local people. Witness the return of fishing boats, experience the charm of the lower Mekong River referred to as the “mother” by Southern residents. The river, cherished for its role in fishing, irrigation, and farming, boasts the ability to yield sizable fish weighing nearly 100kg.

As you sail, immerse yourself in folk songs echoing love for the homeland, harmonizing with the rhythmic sounds of waves. Take in the scenic fisherman’s ports, observe the alluvial water flow, and capture the romantic and poetic ambiance that guarantees picturesque photos.

Upon arriving at this destination, observe the traditional process of making coconut candy at its production site, and savor the delectable flavors of various types of coconut candy—a local specialty.

Additionally, visit a honey bee farm to enjoy a delightful cup of honey tea with lemon, known for its health benefits. Indulge in fresh tropical fruits picked directly from the garden while relishing folk music and the sweet melodies of the locals. For the adventurous, there’s even a python farm where you can touch and take photos with these creatures.

Take a leisurely stroll through the serene village and fruit gardens, soaking in the rustic and tranquil atmosphere of the countryside. Row along a small canal to explore local life and later experience the countryside streets by tuk-tuk.

Returning to the mainland, we’ll drive straight to Ben Tre province, renowned as the “coconut kingdom” in Vietnam. Discover the versatility of the “tree of heaven” and its impact on the lives of the locals.

Embark on a cycling adventure through rustic, rural landscapes, pedaling along village roads, crossing small bridges with scenic mangrove palms on either side. Traverse rural markets and tropical fruit gardens, passing beneath tall coconut trees. Feel the peace of the Vietnamese countryside as you hear the soothing sounds of chickens.

Visit a local market to engage with friendly locals and gain insights into the local culture. Afterward, head to a coconut garden to personally harvest the fruit and indulge in a “homegrown, homemade” lunch at a local’s home. This culinary experience provides a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rich culture.

Finally, our tour guide will ensure your safe return to the hotel, concluding this enriching and delightful journey.
