EXPERIENCE

Hi! My name’s Robby and I’m the owner and sole operator of Freewheelin’ Bike tours. I’m a bike messenger and bike tour guide here in NY. My years of spending my workdays cycling throughout Manhattan helped me curate many cycling routes that I take great pride in taking visitors on.

What separates my guided tours from the others is that mine are improvised and are designed based on the interests of my guests and the public events happening that afternoon. Over my career doing this I’ve become very skilled at reading people and leading my guests towards places they didn’t know about yet they really connect with. I aim to leave everyone, including myself, feeling inspired and moved by what they saw and learned. The conversations held at each point of interest aim to build an appreciation of those who made New York City. Topics discussed focus on the many layers of radical history in America. I want you to feel privileged to stand where, for instance, the lgbtq+ rights movements began. Along each tour, I hope to create lasting personal connections. Cultural exchanges will be shared between us as we ride and dine throughout the city together.

This is a very “choose your own adventure” type of experience.” I’ll throw a lot of options your way and we’ll create our own route.
