Mt Meru Waterfalls day tour – Arusha (Region), Tanzania

EXPERIENCE

Your full-day tour to Mount Meru Waterfalls will start with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha town. From there, you’ll embark on a 1.5-hour drive to the waterfalls. Upon arrival, you’ll complete all necessary registration formalities at the administrative office. Then, you’ll begin your trek on the slopes of Mount Meru, where you’ll have the opportunity to see wildlife such as giraffes, cape buffalo, red duicker, waterbucks, monkeys, and birds. After your trek, you’ll enjoy a packed lunch at a picnic site near Lake Momella, taking in the view of small Momella and the sight of flamingos and other water birds. Following lunch, you’ll start your return trek to the administrative office. From there, you’ll board your car and drive back to Arusha town, ending your tour at your hotel. This private tour lasts approximately 7 hours and includes private transportation, bottled water, lunch, and parking fees.
