Montefiore dell’Aso: Museum of the Clock Tour – Marche, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Walk through the beautiful historic center of Montefiore dell’Aso and explore history of the place. Within Montefiore dell’Aso you can find this charming Clock Museum, complete with restored 19th Century clock mechanisms, and many unique clock projects. The museum houses several timekeeping instruments, which show the progress of this science over time. There are several sundials, and one of the centerpieces is a Roman sundial made locally in the 2nd century and found on the site of a Roman villa nearby.
We will also visit Church of St. Francis and the St. Francis Museum Complex.
