EXPERIENCE

Explore some of Mexico’s most beautiful and historically significant buildings on this walking tour that visits the Museo Nacional de Artes, the National Bank of Mexico, Palacio de Correos de Mexico, and Palacio de Bellas Artes.

Travel first to the Museo Nacional de Arts, with its extensive collection of artwork from the second half of the sixteenth to the first part of the twentieth century.

Admire the historical center of the city where the museum is located while moving on to the next stop, the National Bank of Mexico. See the heart of the financial well-being of Mexico, and gain insight into the national economy.

Finish exploring the birthplace of the Peso, and move on to the Palacio de Correos de Mexico. Gaze at the magnificent architecture of the building with its unique style, influenced by a number of architectural styles.

Decide for yourself which style influences the building the most, as scholars argue Art Nouveau, Moorish, Venetian Gothic Revival, or Baroque, while others argue it is Neoclassical, but regardless, the gold-plated interior is magnificent.

Move on to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the palace that is the center of artistic and cultural activities in Mexico and one of the most prominent buildings in the country. Be amazed by the white marble palace and the murals on the top floors.

End the tour at the Palacio de Bellas Artes and relax as you are returned to your hotel or accommodation in Mexico City to finish up the tour.
