About this walking tour
Explore the heart of Mexico City, at the historic district, while walking through its art, architecture, and History. 
We will take you to places that tourists usually don´t know. However, we love to visit because they still preserve splendorous examples of art from different periods, from pre-Hispanic to contemporary Mexico.
*You will walk a section of the Historic District behind the Cathedral and the Main Square.

Coffee and History
Begin in a beautiful rooftop restaurant, and while enjoying a fresh strawberry or mango smoothie, listen to a brief explanation about the Mexica city (Aztec).

A city beneath your feet
Afterward, walk to see the Mexica city (Aztec) remains from the street and some archeological windows, appreciating some remains of this ancient city.
Founded in the basement of a building and later turned into a museum, this archeological site shows remains of the Mexica City, which help us understand how the ancient prehispanic city remains under our feet.

Colonial Mexico
Continue visiting a former convent and its church to appreciate from the inside a beautiful example of Baroque art in a secluded colonial architecture.

Mexican Muralistic project
During weekdays:
You can learn about this period in Mexican art while visiting some murals by Rivera and Siqueiros.
During weekends:
Appreciate a former high school where Orozco imprinted his criticism in murals of the social classes in Post-Revolutionary Mexico.

Contemporary Mexico
Finish this walking tour at a lovely terrace that perfectly exemplifies how the city has blossomed in the past 15 years into restoring old buildings offering designer shops, hotels, and beautiful rooftop views.
