EXPERIENCE:

We will delve into the Mayan culture and the local way of life. We will start the day visiting the magical town of Izamal where we will walk through its yellow streets, visit the Convent of San Antonio Padua, the local artisan shops and the Kinich Kak Moo pyramid; afterwards we will visit one of the most spectacular cenotes in Yucatan and swim in its crystal clear waters; then we will visit a Mayan family in their home and have a buffet lunch of authentic typical Yucatecan food prepared with local products. We will end our adventure with a visit to the majestic Chichén Itzá, where we will learn about the history of the place and the meaning and relevance it had for the Mayan culture. We will also have free time in Chichén to take photos and explore.
