“Majestic Misti: A Thrilling 2-Day Arequipa Escape” – Arequipa, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

The Misti Volcano, majestic guardian of Arequipa, rises imposingly at 5,822 m.a.s.l. Its impressive profile and natural surroundings captivate adventurers, offering a unique experience in the heart of the Peruvian Andes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arequipa – Misti Volcano

We will start with the tour as soon as we pick you up from the hotel, between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning, we will move in a 4×4.

We will drive to the Misti Volcano by the Chiguata route and after two hours of a vijae we will be located at 3300 meters above sea level.

Then we begin with this great adventure starting our hike up the slope of the volcano.

We will be walking for about 6 hours, meanwhile we will observe the beautiful landscapes that this place offers us.

Finally we will arrive to our camp where we will have dinner and rest until the next day.

Day 2: Misti Volcano – Arequipa

We will start our second day with an energetic and comforting breakfast of tortillas, toast and a hot drink.

After this delicious breakfast, we will start our hike up to the top of the Misti volcano, at about 5825 meters above sea level.

Once here we will have enough free time to take spectacular pictures with the beautiful views that we will have from the crater of Misti.

Finally, we will return to 3300 meters, where the 4×4 will be waiting for us to return to Arequipa, at approximately 14:00 hours.
