Machu Picchu: Full-Day Tour from Cusco small group Tour – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

5:30 AM The tour begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, we will take you in our transport to the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), the duration of the train journey is 1 hour and 45 minutes. Throughout the way, you will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes with extensive fields of crops, cattle, mountains, and snow-capped peaks.
You can choose between three different types of trains to go to Machu Picchu.

Vistadome 360° Option: you’ll enjoy beautiful picture windows to take full advantage of the spectacular scenery and allow for fantastic photo opportunities.

Vistadome Observatory option: you will enjoy 360º panoramic views from the train, where you will be seated in comfortable padded armchairs with a folding table for your comfort, you will be able to move and move to the car with a balcony accompanied by a music and dance show on board.

Voyager option: aboard elegant carriages with comfortable seats. Its wagons have panoramic windows that allow you to appreciate the landscape in all its splendor. These options offer snacks and drinks on board the train for your enjoyment (own expense).

09:30 AM Once you arrive at the Aguas Calientes train station, our guide will be waiting for you to take you to the bus station, then we will travel for 30 minutes until you reach the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, open your arms and feel the magic of this thousand-year-old place, enjoy the impressive view from the Inca citadel, walk with your guide through the main altars, streets. Take the classic photo from the highest part, surely it is a moment that you have been looking forward to, get to know the history and architecture of this wonderful place in a better way.

13:00 PM After the visit to Machu Picchu, you will return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and explore the town of Aguas Calientes, which has many restaurants and craft shops.

16:00 PM At the time indicated according to your choice we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo where our driver will wait for you with a sign and your name written, he will drive you to your hotel in Cusco. Approximate arrival time 19:30 PM.
