EXPERIENCE

This is an all-day London sightseeing tour, plus during the day you will get to see Harry Potter’s London film location sites that were used. This tour does not go to the Studios. The tour is fantastic fun for the whole family — this is the best of both worlds!

London Sightseeing

Your guided tour takes you past many of London’s major sights and landmarks. See Westminster Abbey* (exterior only), where monarchs have been crowned since 1066 . Stand outside Buckingham Palace and watch the Changing of the Guard*. Go to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Eros.

Take a drive past Downing Street, Harrods, the London Eye, museums, galleries, the areas of Soho, Piccadilly, Kensington Palace, Albert Hall, and much more, before stopping for lunch. No London tour is complete without a lunch in a pub. Situated on the edge of the River Thames, enjoy lunch in a pub that’s over 300 years old.

After lunch, continue your tour with a visit to the Tower of London, the most impressive medieval fortress in Britain. Built by William the Conqueror, during its history it has been a palace, a prison, a zoo, a royal mint, an observatory, an armory and a place of execution. It is home to the Crown Jewels, the ravens and famous Beefeaters.

From here, move on to Tower Bridge and then into the City of London, the one square mile that was built by the Romans over 2000 years ago. See the modern financial district that stands side by side with ancient sites. Next, visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Rose Theatre. View the Roman wall that once surrounded the city and the oldest church in the city built in 1123. Your guide will show you the London very few visitors get to see!

Carry on to explore more of the city’s unusual and lesser-known monuments and treasures. Visit the site where the Great Fire of London started in 1666, then travel the short distance to St Paul’s Cathedral.

Please note:
• Westminster Abbey is closed on Sunday for services
• At certain times there may be no Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

LONDON’S SECRETS

As the title says, this is a day of seeing the sights and secrets of London and you will not be disappointed. During the course of your day, visit shops that are over 300 years old and still trading, a pub that sells corpses, a house with false windows, a Roman Bath, a medieval banquet hall and Winston Churchill’s cigar chair. Take a photograph with an original gas lamp, visit a Dead house and discover much more.
