Pachacamac: The most important Oracle on the Coast

Know the most important sanctuary of the Peruvian coast.
This archaeological complex was inhabited by different cultures such as the Lima culture (100-650 A.C), Wari culture (650-900 A. C), Ychsma culture (900-1450 A.C), and the Inca culture (1450-1532 A.C).
Visit the site museum where we can observe some textiles, ceramics of the different cultures developed in the place. We will also have the privilege to meet the highly respected oracle, Pachacamac.
We will visit the Temple of the Moon or Acllahuasi known as the house of the chosen girls.
Visit the Temple of the Sun (the most important temple of the Incas), a place where rituals and human sacrifices were performed in honor of the God Inti (sun).
we will also have the privilege to see the Qhapaq Ñan (Inca trail)

Time for lunch

Let’s visit the Historic Center of Lima, which was inhabited by the last Inca Chief Tahulichusco.
Let’s visit the place where Lima was founded as the City of Kings in 1535.
Know the Historic Center is surrounded by beautiful colonial and republican buildings of monumental European architecture such as, The Government Palace, The Cathedral, The Archbishop’s Palace, The City Hall, The Union Club, etc. that are located in the Main Square. That is why, the Historic Center of Lima has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1991.
On the way to the San Francisco Monastery, we will see the Casa de la Literatura, a neoclassical building that used to be a train station, as well as the famous Cordano Bar which was one of the oldest and most traditional bars in the Historic Center of Lima, and finally as the cherry on the cake the fascinating underground Catacombs.
