Departure with local bus from Rome.

Guided tour of the city center following an itinerary which chronologically goes through all the history of the town from its foundation. You will learn about official history besides legends and mysteries connected by Templar Knights and particular characters, like Frederick II the German Emperor and Celestino V, the famous Pope of the “great refusal”. Starting from Piazza Duomo you will walk through one of the most ancient and charming cobbled road of the town to reach the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio, with the first Holy Door in the world and the only one which opens every year, heart of the Perdonanza Celestiniana and of the majority of the city mysteries. Then you will discover the Basilica of San Bernardino, the most stunning example of Baroque in town, and finally you will visit the Castle, impressive Spanish Fort from the XVI century. At the end of the tour you will have a nougat tasting in the most ancient café in town.
