Lanin Volcano, Trekking in Patagonia Argentina – Lanín National Park, Argentina

EXPERIENCE

Let’s try together this beautiful Volcano in Northern Patagonia Argentina. Lanin National Park, meeting on the day prior to departure where details and last requirements will be defined, the next day we all go together to the northern base of the volcano, 2 hours from San Martín de los Andes, the first day begins with a trekking 6/7 hours (1300 meters of elevation gain) to the high altitude camp, where we will rest in domes.
The next day very early we will attempt the summit, 7/9 hours of trekking with crampons, 1500 meters of elevation gain. Returning to the camp and after resting we continue to the base again to begin the return to the city of San Martín de los Andes.
We include technical equipment (helmet, crampons and axe), full board mountain meals. First aid kit, satellite communication, personal accident insurance.
The level of physical condition must be in accordance with this effort, defined as demanding.
There are bathrooms in the refuge but it may be necessary to use natural bathrooms.
In the backpack we must carry our personal items (porters can be hired), sleeping bag (of at least 5° comfort), insulation, trekking poles, sunscreen, hats, category 3 glasses, goggles, 60/70 liter backpack, boots trekking, thermal interior, sleeping change, hat, thin and waterproof gloves, warm and waterproof jacket, fleece, trekking pants and trouser cover (can be rented)
Transfers are included.
Mountain guide authorized by Lanin National Park.
