In this excursion you will have the opportunity to discover the production and birth of these cheeses by visiting the dairy farm with a guided tour in Italian or English, you will learn how from a single raw material such as milk can be transformed into different types of cheese from the mildest to the most flavorful. At the end of the guided tour, the experience continues by moving from theory to practice! A rich cheese tasting will await you in the dairy farm restaurant.

In addition to discovering the typical flavors of this area, on this excursion, you will also have the opportunity to experience an outdoor activity on an electric bike along the Valsassina bike and pedestrian path that will allow you to discover the unspoiled landscapes of the Valley, from Pasturo to Taceno and back. 11:00 Beginning of the guided tour of the dairy in Italian or English, you will be taken on a journey to discover the production and birth of the various types of cheese you will be able to observe up close each stage of the cheese aging process until the final packaging that will lead the cheese to be sold, distributed until it arrives on our tables and in our dishes.
12:00 Tasting at the company’s cheese restaurant, tasting of different types of cheeses with compotes, a glass of wine, water and coffee
14:00 Departure by e-bike from dairy farm in Pasturo and independent route along the Valsassina bike/pedestrian path, possibility to go as far as the village of Taceno and then back, during the route you can admire the beautiful natural landscapes of Valsassina and its mountains
17:00 Return to dairy farm and return of electric bikes, return home by own means.

The following materials will be provided free of charge to all participants during the visit: shoe covers, gown and cap, which are mandatory during the visit.

it is recommended to dress covered and with warm clothing as during the visit to the dairy the internal temperatures are low due to the presence of cold rooms.
