EXPERIENCE

You will be leaving from San Francisco at 8:00 AM and heading in the direction of one of the most historical places in the USA, Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. This is where the Gold Rush in California first started. It would be about 2.5 hours of driving to the state park.

At the park, you will visit a museum, many original and restored buildings, and see some costumed volunteers. If there is availability you can learn to pan for gold. They also offer a private tour inside the park with a ranger who will tell more about the history of the place. You will spend about 2.5 hours in the park ( including time for a quick lunch).

After Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park you will go to Jelly Belly Candy Company, one of the most recognized American brands, which will be a 1.5-hour drive. You will spend about 2 hours visiting the candy factory (if you want to go on the factory tour) and the store.

You will be back in San Francisco by 5:00 PM.
