Iquitos magical jungle 4 days/ 3 nights jungle – Huanuco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Day 1:
Begin with reception and transfer to the Port of Bellavista. We will navigate the Amazon River, making stops at Fundo Don Pedrito and riverside villages. We will enjoy a typical lunch and hike through the jungle to the AQL Timicurillo community. Dinner will be followed by an optional night walk to enjoy the sounds of the jungle.

Day 2:
We will visit Neyser Island to observe different species of monkeys and then head to the El Encanto de Rony rescue center to see anacondas, sloths and more. We will have the opportunity to taste aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks, followed by fishing and watching the sunset on the Amazon River. Dinner will be accompanied by storytelling and jungle myths.

Day 3:
Optionally, we may wake up early to witness the Amazon sunrise. We will sail to the community of Sinchicuy to meet the Yagua Indians and observe river dolphins. We will enjoy swimming and healing baths in the river, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 4:
We will visit the farming community of San Rafael and the Morphohuasi butterfly farm. After lunch, we will prepare to return to the city.
