– Day 1: Arrival to Cusco and City Tour
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Free morning to rest and acclimatize. You can explore the center of Cusco.
14:00 hrs – Start of the City Tour:
Qoricancha: Temple of the Sun.
Sacsayhuaman: Inca fortress.
Q’enqo: Ceremonial center.
Puka Pukara: Ancient military fortress.
Tambomachay: Ceremonial fountains.
18:30 hrs – End of the tour and return to the hotel.
– Day 2: Sacred Valley and trip to Aguas Calientes
Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up from hotel (7:30 – 8:00 hrs) to start the tour to the Sacred Valley.
Pisac: Visit to the traditional market and Inca ruins.
Urubamba: Stop for a buffet lunch.
Ollantaytambo: Tour of the impressive Inca fortress.
Tourist train Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes).
Overnight at hotel in Aguas Calientes.
– Day 3: Visit to Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.
Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Bus to Machu Picchu (round trip).
Guided tour in Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours and a half, followed by free time.
Lunch in Aguas Calientes.
Train back to Ollantaytambo in the afternoon.
Transportation Ollantaytambo – Cusco.
Overnight at hotel in Cusco.
– Day 4: Excursion to Humantay Lagoon
Hotel pick-up (4:30 – 5:00 AM): Early in the morning, our transportation will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to start the adventure.
Drive from Cusco to Mollepata (3 hours): During the trip you will enjoy breathtaking Andean landscapes.
Breakfast in Mollepata: Upon arrival in Mollepata, a traditional breakfast will give you energy for the hike.
Hike to the Humantay Lagoon (2 hours approx.): We will begin a 2-hour hike up a path surrounded by mountains and spectacular scenery, until we reach the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, a turquoise water mirror located at the foot of the snow-capped mountain.
Free time at the lagoon: You will have time to explore the area, take pictures and enjoy the tranquility of the place.
Lunch in Mollepata: After descending, we will return to Mollepata for a refreshing lunch.
Return to Cusco (17:00 hrs approx.): Travel back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.
