EXPERIENCE

‘- Day 1:
Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María
A car will pick you up from the hotel at approximately 6:00 am to take you to Abra Málaga.

At Abra Málaga you will get all the cycling equipment to ride a bicycle to the Inca site of Huamanmarca to have lunch and explore the small Inca ruins of Huamanmarca. Then you will return to the car to go to Santa María and do the Rafting activity.

At the end of the activity you will go to the accommodation to have dinner and rest.

– Day 2:
Santa María – Quellomayo – Santa Teresa
This day after breakfast you will begin a walk along the original Inca trail that served to connect Machupicchu with Vilcabamba, at 3 hours walk until you reach Quellomayo.

You will have lunch in Quellomayo, then you will continue with a walk of approximately 4 hours to reach the hot springs of Cocalmayo where you can rest for a few hours. You will continue the journey to Santa Teresa where you will have dinner and spend the night.

– Day 3:
Santa Teresa – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes
You will have breakfast in Santa Teresa, then they will pick you up to take you to the base of the activity where they will give you the safety equipment and a talk about ziplining. The activity lasts approximately 2 hours. Then you will take a car to go to Hidroeléctrica and have lunch there.

After having lunch at Hidroeléctrica, you will walk approximately 3 hours until you reach the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

– Day 4:
Day 4: Machupicchu – Cusco
This day you will get up around 4:00 am to give yourself a box breakfast and begin the walk to the Puente Ruinas checkpoint. You will go up the stairs to the door of Machupucchu where you will pass the second checkpoint and enter for a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

After the visit you will have free time, the time you will spend in Machupicchu will depend on how you want to return to Cusco and will also depend on whether you want to visit the Huaynapicchu mountain, which you must reserve in advance.
