EXPERIENCE

During this tour you will see famous and beautiful places of Armenia. The first point to visit is Hovhanavank Monastery. The monastery stands on the edge of the Kasagh River canyon. It is a wonderful place. They say that Grigory the Illuminator founded a chruch there. Then it becama a monastery.
The second point of our destination is Saghmosavank Monastery. is a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex located.Like the Hovhannavank monastery which is five kilometers south, Saghmosavank is situated atop the precipitous gorge carved by the Kasagh river. It is considered that Gregory the Illuminator founded a church here as well. The view to monastery and the gorgw is stunning.
The third stop is Armenian Alphavet valley. In 2005, the Armenian Alphabet celebrated its 1600th birthday. In commemoration, it was given a gift of 39 giant, carved Armenian letters, strategically placed near the final resting place of the man who created the alphabet, Mesrop Mashtots. You will be given the chance to find the first letter of your name and snap a picture with it.
The last point is Amberd fortress. In 2024, the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage Europa Nostra included Amberd, a medieval fortress, in the list of the 7 most endangered European monuments and heritage sites.
