EXPERIENCE

Step aboard and learn to ride your very own Segway Personal Transporter before embarking on an immersive tour through the heart of Honolulu s Civic Center. Your adventure begins with a visit to the Mission Houses, built in 1820 by Hawaii s first missionaries, and Hawaii s first church, the historic Kawaiahao Church, where many of Hawaii s former Ali i (royalty) are buried.

Next, we glide past Honolulu Hale (Honolulu s City Hall) and head to the gold-encrusted King Kamehameha Statue, one of only three in the world, standing proudly in front of Hawaii s State Supreme Court building. This building was once the seat of Hawaii s government when it was a nation. Crossing King Street, we enter the grounds of Iolani Palace and Royal Barracks, the only royal palace on American soil, built by King Kalakaua and now a museum.

We ll glide around the Palace, admire the majestic banyan trees, and stop at the Queen Lili uokalani Statue, dedicated to Hawaii s last ruling monarch. Our tour continues to Hawaii s State Capitol Building with its unique architecture and then to the Hawaii State Art Museum. We ll traverse Honolulu s Wall Street on Bishop Street and explore Merchant Street, the first paved street in Honolulu, with its historic buildings.

Our journey takes us to Honolulu Harbor and the famed Aloha Tower, once the tallest building in Hawaii. Here, you can see the restored coral reef and watch fish feeding nearby. This part of the tour offers a deep dive into Hawaii s history while enjoying the modern technology of a Segway.

We then head to Kaka ako Waterfront Park, with its majestic promenade, where we ll see surfers at Point Panic and visit the Ehime Maru Memorial and Echo Stone for spectacular cross-island vistas. During winter months, you might even spot some whales. We conclude our tour by gliding back through Kaka ako s vibrant wall/street art murals.

This tour provides a fascinating glide through the history of 19th Century Honolulu and how it has shaped the culture of the city today.
