EXPERIENCE:

The Ruta de Agua and Roman Aqueduct of Pena Cortada is an Iconic route an hours drive from Valencia.

We will collect you in Valencia city centre and travel in an air conditioned minibus have a coffee in the village of Callesand you have the opportunity to use the bathroom before we start the walk. The first section is along a fluvial path past dissused windmills and arrive in the beautiful white town of Chelva. Here there is the option to either eat a picnic lunch or have a bocadillo in a cafe in the town. Please advise which option you would prefer. The return from Chelva to Calles is along a different, higher path, still about 6km but we will walk along an amazing 2000 year old Roman Viaduct.

Note in the summer months we do the route in the opposite direction which means we dow the unshaded part of the route first and allows us to finish with a swim in the river

We are a new supplier on Get Your Guide but if you put Valencia Exursions Club into a search engine you will find that we have been operatiing for many years and have great reviews.
