EXPERIENCE:

This 5-day journey to Machu Picchu offers stunning scenery and amazing views of the Inca’s ancient treasures, such as the ancient Incan capital of Cusco, the lush Sacred Valley, and one of the World’s Wonders, Machu Picchu. The package also includes a Rainbow mountain climb, where you will have opportunities to pause and absorb the unparalleled beauty of the Peruvian highlands and Ausangate valleys and capture some great photographs. Then, on your way up to Rainbow Mountain, you’ll come across various wild animals including llamas, alpacas, and chinchillas.

Overview of Your Travel Experience
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and Walking City Tour in the afternoon
Upon your arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel the rest of the day will be free for you to relax and enjoy this magnificent city.

Day 2: Full-Day Sacred Valley
Breakfast at your hotel, then we will pick you up between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, to start your day tour of Sacred Valley.
after the full-day Sacred Valley, we go to the Ollantaytambo railway station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed and transferred to the Hotel.

Day 3: Machu Picchu / Back to Cusco
Early Breakfast in the Hotel, then we will be picking you up at your hotel lobby to take the bus going to Machu Picchu.
The guided tour begins around 07:30 a.m., with the guide skillfully directing you through the spectacular ruins and main streets. According to esoteric understanding, Machu Picchu is the world’s spiritual center. After your visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for a great lunch in a nice restaurant. Finally, you will begin your return journey to Cusco by train. When you arrive at the railway station, one of our representatives will be ready to take you to your accommodation in Cusco.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain
We will pick you up at 04:00 from your hotel and a 3-hour drive to the trailhead. Stop at Cusipata; afterward, Enjoy the ride as we pass alpaca and llama herds. The hike to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain (5,030m/16,498ft) takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon reaching Red Hill, we will have breathtaking views of the distinctively colored rock formation that gives Rainbow Mountain its name: turquoise, orange, brown, and red sedimentary rock strata. Once we reach the peak, we will have a chance to eat and take in the panoramic views. Typically, the break lasts 45 minutes. It is time to descend after soaking in the beautiful vistas. Returning to the trailhead should take lunch before traveling to Cusco.

Day 5: Departure back Lima
Depending on the time of your flight, our staff will take you to the airport. Our program will end once you reach the airport.
