Hidden hiking trails with dogs at the Sierra Norte Monutains – Oaxaca, Mexico

EXPERIENCE:

We will start out in the outskirts of San Pablo Elta on a small hilltop to see the whole Oaxaca city from above and then dive straight into the hidden paths through nature and up the mountains of the Sierra Norte. You will have the chance to totally immerse into the forest, listen to the birds and outlandish insects around you. There is plenty of time to take pictures, while being safely guarded by our dogs and an experienced local guide. The hike will be 6-8h, reaching 3200m altitude, over different paths with a total distance of 7-35km depending on your personal level, including a snack break midways. Beginner or Athlet: we will adjust the level of difficulty on your personal abilities.

This trip is especially for you if you live or travel with your own dog(s) and like to unleash him/her in nature. And if you are solo/a group of only humans and just love animals and dogs. Or even if you are shy about it and would like to spend quality time in nature to (re)connect with the animal & plant world.
