Genoa: urban hiking along the ancient walls and forts park – Liguria, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

You will be taken in a Walking tour with a professional naturalistic guide, starting from Unesco historic centre of Genoa, the Rolli Palaces district. You will be climbing its height first by taking a spectacular 120 years old funicular cable, an authentic experience reserved for the locals! Then your guide will take you along the longest defense city walls’ system in Europe, the “Mura Nuove” park! You will pass throught a pictoresque natural area reserved to batterflies reproduction named “the butterflay path” and the reach a belvedere point where you can admire the Forts of “la Superba”. Before walking back down we will stop for a little breakfast in a tipical Osteria for some focaccia and handmade cookies tasting.
