Full Day Excursion Punta Tombo with Penguins – Chubut Province, Argentina

EXPERIENCE

We depart from Puerto Madryn to Punta Tombo. The penguin colony is open throughout the season from September to April, months where they arrive by the thousands. There, thousands of penguins in their natural habitat move slowly, sometimes hundreds of meters, from their nests to the sea, to feed and then return; and in summer we will be able to see their newly hatched chicks.

Along the way we will probably see herds of guanacos and groups of rheas, running across the Patagonian steppe, and perhaps a fox or an armadillo.
