Full day Cusco : Chocolate tour in Huayopata – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Itinerary

– We will pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and head to the jungle of Cusco, specifically to the district of Huayopata.

– After a four hour drive we will arrive at the farm of the Julia Guerra and Jose family, where we will take the chocolate tour.

– Once there, we will make a tour of the farm discovering all the products that are grown there.

– We will get to know the cocoa plantations, learning about the care they receive to finally harvest this precious fruit. Have you worked up an appetite? Don’t worry, we will then enjoy a traditional meal that will include a starter and a main course.

– With our strength restored, we will watch the process of roasting the fruit until we can taste the cocoa paste. We will also be able to participate and help the locals in all this work.

– Then comes one of the most awaited moments of the tour. We will taste the flavour of ground cocoa accompanied by local products, such as fruits and chillies. You will love it! With this good taste in your mouth we will return to your hotel, where we will finish the activity after fourteen and a half hours of touring.
