  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE

This excursion consists of two level 2 hikes in the south-southwest area of the island within the Natural Park of Jandia.

You will be driven to the southwest end of the peninsula of Jandia, Punta Pecebre, once we reach our destination, you will start your first route.

This route will take us northeast along the imposing windward coast, to then enter a sandy area, leaving to our right the remains of an ancient volcanic building called Talahijas, which will accompany us to the ravine of Agua Cabras, which as its name suggests, runs a small thread of salty water (not always active) where goats have been satisfiying their thirst for centuries. Once arrived at this beautiful place we will only miss about 300 m to see the wild and beautiful beach of el Junquillo and la Punta del Junquillo. After a short break we will undo our steps to rich our vehicle.

You will continue your journey with our vehicle to the Punta de Jandia lighthouse where you will see the imposing and dangerous rocky shallows.

Once you have recharged your batteries we will drive with our van to one of the most spectacular and breathtaking scenery of Fuerteventura, Cofete. We will make a stop at the famous Winter House to contemplate it from the outside and then head to the old cemetery of Cofete. After the mandatory photos of such majestic scenery, we will head to the starting point of our second hike; between cardones and a unique scenery we will descend through a ravine full of volcanic formations to the wild coast of Cofete. Once we arrived at the beach, we wil take off our shoes and head south, until we reach an imposing stone monolith known as El Roque del Moro. After a rest we will retrace our steps back to the vehicle to return home after this unforgettable day.
