From Zagora: Overnight Desert Tour to Erg Chigaga Camel ride – Souss-Massa, Morocco

EXPERIENCE

DAY 1ZAGORA – MHAMID – OASES – ERG CHIGAGA

Departure from Zagora Erg Chigaga Tour at 1 pm, we will pick you up from wherever you are in Zagora. We will drive towards M’Hamid through Tizi Anagame and Ben Selman Mountains. Here we leave the tarmac road and we trade it for off-road, Stones River, and Sand Dunes for 2 hours. On the way, we will stop at the Oases. 30min later, we will arrive at Erg Chigaga (the largest dunes in the region) before sunset.
Well! Here you have to trade your vehicle for Camels, so you would have 1 hour Camel trekking on the Sand dunes during the sunset. The best time for pictures as the sand turns red to match this beautiful sky. Arrive at your Desert camp, Check in your private tent, and enjoy your special evening: dinner, campfire with drum players, and Berber music.

DAY 2ERG CHIGAGA – TAMEGROUTE – ZAGORA

Sunrise is a magical moment that should not be missed. After enjoying your breakfast we will leave Chigaga toward Zagora. Stop at Tamegroute village to visit the Koranic school & assist with the green pottery process. We will be in Zagora around 12am.
