From Tirana/Durres: Day Trip to the Albanian Riviera! – Vlorë County, Albania

If you are looking to experience the beauty of the Albanian Riviera during your trip to Albania, then look no further! This day trip will involve soaking in the sun at Horse’s Bay in Dhermi, where the water is crystal clear and instead of sand, there are little rocks. The tour will begin at 6:00 a.m. where your tour guide will pick you up and you will begin your journey to this hidden gem nestled in the heart of Southern Albania. The drive takes a little less than 3 hours, but the beauty of this beach is worth every minute you will spend in a nice air-condition car. Once we arrive at Horse’s Bay, we will spend our time enjoying a variety of activities. There are plenty of spots along this stretch of the beach to do a bit of swimming in these crystal waters, including doing a bit of snorkeling. You will be in awe of all of the sea life you will be able to discover just meters away from the shore. If you are looking to be on the more adventurous side, there are plenty of different boat tours that will take you to a variety of different beaches that are only accessible by boat (the boat tour is optional and is not included in the final price). If you are looking for just a relaxing day at the beach, this is also an ideal tour for you and your friends. Lounge chairs and an umbrella are available to rent at this beach for roughly 25 euros. The tour guide will have chairs and an umbrella with him for everyone on this tour to use free of charge. After spending a few hours lounging on the beach, there will be an opportunity to have lunch at a number of different restaurants located just a few kilometers south of the beach (you are also more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks with you to enjoy on the beach). There is also the option of visiting Dhermi beach after lunch, whether you and your friends would like to grab a coffee or alcoholic beverages at one of the many cafes/bars that are located right on the main beach. After you have thoroughly experienced everything Dhermi has to offer, the tour guide will then drive everyone back to Tirana and be dropped off at the location of their choice. This will conclude your tour of the Albanian Riviera!
