From Tirana: 5-Day Albanian Riviera Beaches Tour – Vlorë County, Albania

EXPERIENCE

Day 1: Tirana – Sarande – Lekursi Castle – Albanian Riviera
Your tour leader will pick you up at your hotel in Tirana. Drive to Saranda, considered to be the pearl of the Albanian Riviera. Located in a perfect natural bay of the Ionian Sea with an amazing view of Corfu Island, Saranda is known for its rocky beaches, numerous bays, rich flora and fauna, citrus plantations, olive groves, and vineyards.

The port of Saranda is one of the most important in the southern region of Albania, thus becoming a connecting point with the Mediterranean countries. After exploring the city, have some free time to relax by the sea. Later, drive towards Lekursi Castle, perched on a hill overlooking the city and the Ionian Sea, offering one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the region.

Day 2: Albanian Riviera – Ksamil – Albanian Riviera
After breakfast, drive towards Ksmail, your main destination for the day. You will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise when being on its white sandy beaches with the view of the four islands in front of the beach. Have some time to dive in and enjoy the turquoise colors of the sea and soak up the atmosphere.

Day 3: Albanian Riviera – Borsh – Porto Palermo Castle – Albanian Riviera
After breakfast, explore the beautiful coastline of the Albanian Riviera, known for some of the most famous beaches in Albania, its hidden coves, pebble beaches, and crystal-clear water inviting you to dive in. Drive towards Borsh, the longest and largest beach in the Ionian Sea (7 km-long).

Borsh is a quiet coastal village known for olive oil production, the beach clean and the water amazingly crystal clear. On the way to the next destination, stop at Porto Palermo Castle, where you’re greeted by the sight of an ancient fortress overlooking the azure waters. Continue the journey along the coast, with the promise of more stunning views and hidden gems.

Day 4: Albanian Riviera – Himare – Dhermi – Albanian Riviera
Discover the breathtaking beauty of Himara, a charming coastal town nestled along the Albanian Riviera. Immerse yourself in rich history, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality of this enchanting destination. Step back in time as you wander through the narrow cobblestone streets of Himara’s Old Town.
Admire the traditional stone houses, pristine beaches and time spent by the sea. Relax on the soft, sandy shores or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.
The drive passes some of the most beautiful beaches of Vuno, Dhermi, and Palasa. and our next destination will be Dhermi, one of the most famous beaches in Albania. Have some free time by the seaside.

Day 5: Albanian Riviera – Vlora Bay – Transfer to Tirana
After breakfast, have some free time to enjoy the last day by the Riviera. Find a perfect spot to lay your towel, and enjoy the waves of Vlora Bay. You might find a cozy spot to enjoy a drink with a fantastic view of Sazani Island and Karaburun Peninsula.

Later, drive back to Tirana.
