From Split or Trogir: Day-Trip to Šibenik and Zadar - Dalmatia, Croatia

EXPERIENCE

Following pickup from your accommodation, your first stop will be the city of Šibenik. Whilst there, admire the ancient walls alongside the stunning backdrop of the Adriatic Coast. The most famous sight of Šibenik is undoubtedly the UNESCO-protected St. Jacob’s cathedral, following which you can choose to walk around the stoned streets, buy some souvenirs, and enjoy a coffee on Riva Promenade.

Your next stop is Zadar, the oldest continually inhabited city in Croatia. Evidence of human settlement there stretches all the way back to the 4th century B.C. This history passes through tribal, Greek, Roman, Venetian, and Italian rule, before its modern situation as a part of Croatia.

Check out several historic monuments from the medieval and Renaissance periods, in addition to contemporary constructions such as the world’s first sea organ. Once your busy day sightseeing comes to a close, your tour concludes with your guide returning you to your accommodation.
