From Sorrento: Path of the Gods Hike – Sorrento, Italy

Benefit from pick-up at a pre-assigned meeting point, and then journey to the breathtaking Amalfi Coast to hike the Path of the Gods (Il Sentiero degli Dei).

Make your way through paradise on the ancient path that used to connect the sleepy hamlet of Nocelle near Positano to Bomerano in Agerola just outside Naples. Named after the natural beauties of its views, the trail is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world.

Discover the remains of ancient farmhouses and meet local shepherds carrying wood with their mules, or milk to remote towns dotted around the hills and along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

There are 2 different paths starting from Nocelle or Bomerano, the guide will select the best route based on traffic, weather and season.

From Nocelle:

From Bomerano:

(we start from Bomerano and back to Bomerano, this option is longer by car but less walking)

Botany: mediterranean scrub, heather, euphorbia, true myrtle, orchids in spring,..
Fauna: birds of prey (kestrel, peregrine falcon, buzzard, raven, sea gull,..) migratory and sedentary birds and insects, butterflies , reptiles (lizards, harmless snakes).
Natural landscape interests: view on the whole peninsola, view on Capri and Amalfi coast
