From Palenque: Live the Lacandona Jungle Multi-Day Tour – Chiapas, Mexico

EXPERIENCE:

This trip consists of 2 days 1 night, in the Lacandona Jungle, the first day we will visit the Mayan cities that are located within the Lacandona Jungle, Yaxchilan and Bonampak, the second day we will take a walk inside the Jungle, which lasts 4 hours, where we will visit the lost city and the Golondrinas waterfalls.
Day 1
Departure 5:30 am at the reception of your hotel in Palenque, at 7:30 am we stop for breakfast. Then we continue to the Corozal border where we board a boat and navigate the Usumacinta River for 1 hour to reach Yaxchilan with a 2-hour visit.
Return to the corozal border, lunch time included. We continue to Bonampak, a 1-hour visit , then continue to Lacanja Chansayab where we spend the night in cabins with private bathroom and dinner included.
Day 2
Breakfast in the morning, then a Lacandon guide will be waiting for us to take a 4-hour walk into the jungle, to appreciate the flora and fauna of the place, we also visit waterfalls and the ruins of Lacanja. After the activity, food included and finally return to the city of Palenque arriving at the hotel at 8:00 pm.
