From Palenque: Lacandona Jungle 2-Day Tour with Rafting – Chiapas, Mexico

EXPERIENCE:

DAY 1
Departure at 5:30 am at the reception of your hotel in Palenque, we head towards Frontera Corozal. At 7:30 am we stop for breakfast. (Included) Then we continue to the Corozal border where we board a boat and navigate the Usumacinta River for 1 hour to reach Yaxchilan with a 2-hour visit. Return to the corozal border, lunch time included. We continue to the archaeological zone of Bonampak, a 1-hour visit and continue to Lacanja Chansayab (Lacandona village) where we spend the night in cabins with private bathroom and dinner included.
DAY 2
Breakfast in the morning, then a guide specialized in rafting will be waiting for us to descend the Lacanja River for 2 hours. At the end of the river descent we will begin with a 2-hour walk to appreciate the flora and fauna of the place. Afterwards, return to the cabin, lunch time included, then return to the city of Palenque, arriving at the hotel at 8:00 pm, end of the service.
