From Huatulco: Crocodiles and Turtles Eco Tour – Oaxaca, Mexico

EXPERIENCE:

Embark on an excursion full of learning and support for nature, visiting the Ecotourism Center “La Ventanilla”, where we will take a walk near the beach to reach its lagoon and board a boat that will take you to the labyrinths of the mangroves and observe to crocodiles, birds and iguanas in their natural habitat. You will visit the “La Escobilla” Ecotourism Center, also called “Sanctuary of the Turtles” due to the large number of turtles that come to this Oaxacan coast. In this beautiful place we will be observers of the release of turtles, you will also learn about the importance of preserving the species of turtles that reach the beaches of the coast and the entire care process from spawning, until they reach the sea and continue with their life cycle. This activity is ideal for minors and/or those families who wish to help nature and contribute to its conservation.
