From Florence: Pisa/Chianti Half Day Tour with Wine Tasting – Florence, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Explore the Chianti wine region and visit the famous “Leaning Tower” of Pisa, tasting 5 of the best Chianti wines in a beautiful farmhouse located along a wonderful wine route.

Itinerary:
• Meet our driver at the meeting point in via del Curtatone N. 9 (near the American Embassy) in front of the Gamberini bar. It will be waiting for you with a welcome sign.
• In the morning, we will visit the city of Pisa and the incredible Leaning Tower. We will also see the great Baptistery and the Cathedral, which are located in the same square as the Tower.
• Afterwards we will drive within the famous Chianti region, which includes the iconic landscape of rolling hills, sunflowers, cypress avenues and medieval villages.
• We will drive through the Chianti vineyards, along a beautiful wine route.
• Later we’ll visit a typical farmhouse, its vineyards, the cellar, and we’ll discover the secrets of the production of Chianti wine.
• We will have a tasting experience of 5 wines with explanation of the basic characteristics.
• The return is scheduled for 2.00 pm.
