Montepulciano is a medieval and Renaissance hill town that is located not too far from Siena. It is a major producer of food and drinks, renowned for its pork, cheese, “pici” pasta, lentils, and honey, and known worldwide for its wine.
Connoisseurs consider its vino nobile, which should not be confused with varietal wine merely made from the Montepulciano grape, among Italy’s best. A visit to Montepulciano can’t be complete without the possibility to taste some local wine.

At the end of the tour, sit back, relax and enjoy your 2.5-hour drive back to your accommodation in Florence. The duration of your tour will be about 10-hours and you can expect to be back at your hotel at around 18:00, depending on the local traffic.
