Day 1: Budget Minivan Transport from Cusco to Hydroelectric (Round Trip)

Embark on a comfortable and cost-effective journey with our minivan service from Cusco to Hydroelectric. Pickup begins at 6:00 am from your hotel in the historic center, leading you on a 5 to 6-hour adventure through rivers, rice fields, mountains, and charming villages. Upon reaching Hydroelectric, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then, trek for 3 hours, navigating varied terrain and alongside the train tracks to Machu Picchu pueblo. Choose your accommodation, register, and purchase your entry ticket to explore circuits 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Visit, Trek from Aguas Calientes to Hydroelectric, and Return to Cusco

Opt to ascend Machu Picchu on foot or by vehicle for a sunrise visit. We offer group or private 3-hour guided tours. After your exploration, ensure you’re at Hydroelectric by 14:30 pm for the return to Cusco in our minivan, arriving after a 5 or 6-hour journey. Alternatively, extend your stay in the village and inform us of your return date to arrange transportation. While this program focuses on round-trip transport, additional services like admission, lodging, guide, and meals are available at an extra cost.

Visit to Machu Picchu Archaeological Site

To enter Machu Picchu, you’ll need the entrance called “Llaqta Machu Picchu.” If not included, it can be purchased on the Ministry of Culture’s website. The entrance allows access to one of the 4 circuits, chosen upon arrival:

Circuit 1: Upper and lower parts, terraces for 3 hours.
Circuit 2: Upper and lower parts, routes to Inti Punku and Puente del Inca for 4 hours.
Circuit 3: Lower part including agricultural zone, Temple of the Sun, House of the Inca, and the Archaeological Reserve for 1.5 hours (known as Machu Picchu with Machu Picchu Mountain).
*Circuit 4: Lower part including agricultural zone, Temple of the Sun, House of the Inca, Sacred Rock, and water mirrors for 2.5 hours (known as Uchuypicchu or Waynapicchu Mountain).
