From Cusco: Waqrapukara Private Tour 2D/1N – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Cusco – Sangarara – Pitumarca – Waqrapukara
We will pick you up at your hotel at 5:00 am – 5:30 am to head south of Cusco.
In the course of the trip, we will pass through small villages, and after 2 hours we will arrive at Pomacanchi Lake where we will have time to take pictures.
Continuing the tour we will arrive at Sangarara where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast and then continue to the community of Pitumarka.
There we will start our hike to the archaeological center of Waqrapukara, on the way we can observe a great variety of flora and fauna (condor, llamas, alpacas, huallatas, Andean hummingbirds, vicuñas, wild horses, cattle, etc). We will share pleasant moments with nature and the Andean man until we arrive at Waqrapukara where we will set up camp and have dinner.
Day 2: Waqrapukara – Cusco
After appreciating the wonderful sunrise, we will have a delicious breakfast.
Later we will prepare to visit the majesty of Waqrapukara, in this place we will observe its enigmatic construction among them: enclosure of the moon and sun, enclosure of Wiracocha, towers, bleachers, the main palace, double and triple jamb gates, its bastions, buildings and the majesty of the Apurimac canyon and rock formations in their natural state.
After having visited all the wonder of Waqrapukara, we will return to the starting point where the delicious lunch will be waiting for us, after eating we will start walking to reach the district of Sangarara and thus return to the city of Cusco, we will be arriving at 6:30 pm approx.
