At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to begin this unforgettable experience on one of the most curious peaks of Peru, we are going trekking on the Rainbow Mountain!

After approximately two hours of travel, we will pass the village of Cusipata and reach Tintinco. There we will enjoy a breakfast that will give us the necessary energy to face the trekking route through the Rainbow Mountain.

Once satiated, we will return to the bus to the community of Chillihuani, where we begin the hike at 4600 meters above sea level. Following the guide’s indications, we will ascend among mysterious peaks while encountering Andean animals such as alpacas, sheep, and vicuñas.

After 2 hours and 30 minutes of climbing, we will arrive at the spectacular Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca or the Mountain of the Seven Colors. As soon as you see it, you will discover why its majesty has earned it a place on the list of the 100 places to visit before you die, according to National Geographic magazine.

We will leave you time to take pictures of Rainbow Mountain, and then we will start our descent back to the bus following the same route by which we arrived. Luckily, going down is easier than going up!

We will return to Tintinco to enjoy a buffet lunch – the best possible reward!

At the end of lunch, we will return to the center of Cusco and drop you off near the Plaza de Armas for a 14 to 15-hour excursion.
