From Cusco: Sacred Valley with Machupicchu 2D/1N | Private – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Cusco-Pisac-Aguas Calientes. we will pick you up in the morning to start the trip by vehicle to the north of Cusco. we will stop at a viewpoint where we will have our first viewof the sacred valley, with an explanation by the tour guide. Then, we will arrive at Pisac, where we will visit the archeological site with terraces used and improved by the Quechuas for the cultivation of products. We will reach an altitudeof 34000 m, even 3500m if we dare to walk the highest part. Afterswards, we will take our transportation to follow the road to Ollantaytambo, bordering the Urubamba river, once there, we will visit the terraces of this place and the ruins of the temple of sun, besides having a privileged view of the surrounding valleys. At the end of this day’s tour, you will be dropped off at the train station to take the shuttle to the Aguas Calientes station, from where you willl arrive at the hostel for the night.

Day 2: Aguas calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco
The day starts very early in the morning to take the bus with our guide in the center of town, which takes 25 minutes to get from Aguas calientes to the entrance of the citadel of Machupicchu. Here, we will begin a guided tour for 1 hour, during which time we will be explained the history of the site, from its construction to the time when it was rediscovered by Hiram bingham. Then, we will say goodbye to the guide and the group, to tour the citadel on our own, with time to see the missing buildings, or climb one the mountains, Machupicchu or Huaynapicchu mountain, if you included any of them in your ticket. After this xperience , you will return to Aguas calientes to be at the train station half an hour before the scheduled departure time on your ticket. You will arrive to Ollantaytambo, where they will be waiting for you to take the transportation that will take you to Cusco city center.
