From Cusco: Sacred Valley of Incas full-day tour - Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Embark on your Andean adventure at 7:40 am with a convenient hotel pick-up, followed by a scenic journey to Pisaq, a charming village nestled 30 kilometers from Cusco City. This vibrant town is home to a bustling market square, where a kaleidoscope of colors and lively chatter await. Explore the market’s diverse array of Andean handicrafts, including exquisite textiles, ponchos, bags, and much more.

After a scenic ride, we’ll ascend to the majestic ruins of Pisac, an administrative hub of the Inca Empire. From its pinnacle, we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking vistas of the Urubamba River, meandering through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Following the exploration of Pisaq, we’ll journey to the Town of Urubamba, where a mandatory buffet lunch awaits the entire group, providing approximately an hour to savor the delectable spread.

Afterward, we will embark on a 40-minute exploration of the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a strategic Inca stronghold that once guarded the valley entrance, and gain insights into its significance as a military, religious, and cultural hub during the Inca era.

We catch our bus back to Cusco. On the route, we will stop at Chinchero to see the ruins of Tupac Inca Yupanqui’s hacienda, as well as its gorgeous Colonial Temple, from which they will be able to observe the walls of Inca buildings. We will return to Cusco at 6:30 p.m.
