From Cusco: Sacred Valley Machupicchu Connection – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Sacred Valley connection
Pick up from your hotel 7:00 – 8:00 a.m.
We will go to your lodging where you are staying, preferably located in the historical center, then we will go to our first destination the archaeological complex of “Pisaq” which is made up of terraces, aqueducts, roads associated with walls etc.. We will go to the town of Urubamba to have lunch at the Andean Buffet.
Continuing with our tour we will visit Ollantaytambo in which we will know the most important sites of the complex as the Tempo del Sol, in Inca times was another of the many multifunctional towns was an administrative, military, social and economic center.
At the end of the guided tour the guide will show us where the train station is, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Machupicchu
This day starts early with breakfast at your hotel. Then we head to the bus station where we will board the bus to go to the Machupicchu Sanctuary. We will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will have time to explore the area and take pictures. At the end of the tour we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will go to the train station at the established time, to board the train to Ollantaytambo, where we will make a transfer to get to the city of Cusco.
