From Cusco: Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca Color full-day tour – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Hotel/hostels are picked up at 03:00 am and 03:30 am for transfer to Rainbow Mountain. Departure from Cusco city takes approximately 1.5 hours to get to Cusipata. At 05:00am – 06:00am we will arrival and Breakfast in the district of Cusipata. At 06:00 am – 07:15 am start the uphill trek to Rainbow Mountain. Arrive to Rainbow Mountain between at 09:00am – 09:30am. Spend some time at the top of the mountain taking in the view of the beautiful surrounding scenery.

As an optional route from 9:30 am to 10:00 am you can do the visit the Red Valley (does not include entrance). Then, we will return to the starting point where transportation awaits us (10:00am – 11:30am). Return in transport to Cusipata district. At 12:30pm – 1:30pm we will go to a restaurant for lunch before hitting the road back to Cusco. Finally, takes about 1.5 hours (2:30pm – 4:10 a 4:15pm) to get back to Plaza Regocijo in Cusco 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas.
