From Cusco: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley – Private Tour – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1:
We will leave Cusco at 4: 00 a.m. in our transportation that will take us for three and a half hours to the village of Quesiuno, where we will have breakfast. Before starting our day, we will have a brief introduction to meet the cook and the muleteer who will accompany us during the route. We will start with a three-hour ascent to Abra Puca (4,870 m) and enjoy the most impressive views of the turquoise lagoons. You will contemplate the snow-capped Ausangate in all its extensions, recharging yourself with its energy.
After a well-deserved rest, we will descend for an hour and a half surrounded by breathtaking views and colorful hills that will give us the impression of being very close to the Colored Mountain. We will observe llamas and alpacas in the surroundings until we reach our lunch spot at Antapata.
We will continue with a two-hour ascent to Abra Warmisaya (4,985 m) and appreciate the striking colors that dazzle every visitor. Finally, we will descend for 45 minutes to reach the camp point, known as Surinecocha (4,800 m).
Day 2:
We will taste our delicious breakfast. We will arrive at the Montaña de Colores (5,100 m) and take time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and capture some photos before continuing on to the Red Valley, later we will descend to the Red Valley.
Finally, we will return to Cusco.
