From Cusco: Mountain of Colors – Short Inca Trail 4D/3N – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Cusco – Quesiuno – Abra Puca – Anantapata – Abra Warmisaya – Surinecocha

• Early departure by private transportation to Pitumarca and breakfast in Quesiuno.
• Beginning of the walk with a gradual ascent of 500 meters in three hours to Abra Puca.
• Spiritual connection with Ausangate, considered the creator of waters according to the Andean worldview.
• Descent for an hour and a half to Anantapata for lunch.
• Ascent to Abra Warmisaya with views of the Colored Mountain.
• 45 minute walk to the camp in Surinecocha.
• Dinner at the camp to end the day.

Day 2: Surinecocha – Mountain of Colors – Red Valley – Andahuaylillas – Rumi Punku – Cusco

• Visit to the Montaña de Colores viewpoint.
• Stunning natural colors on the Color Mountain: pink, green, yellowish brown, red, turquoise and gold, attracting tourists from all over the world.
• Stop at the Red Valley viewpoint.
• Visit to the Church of Andahuaylillas.
• Continuation by private transportation to Rumi Punku, followed by a 45-minute walk to the Huacarpay Wetland, where lunch will take place.
• Return to Cusco to rest and prepare for the next adventures.

Día 3: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Km 104 – Wiñay Huayna – Inti Punku – Aguas Calientes

• Early departure by private transportation to Ollantaytambo station to take the train to KM 104.
• Three-hour ascent, experiencing the climate change from mountains to tropical forest.
• Visit to the archaeological site of Wiñay Huayna, considered a miniature replica of Machu Picchu.
• Lunch in the surroundings of Wiñay Huayna.
• Travel by bus to Aguas Calientes, dinner at an exclusive restaurant and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

• We start the day with breakfast at the hotel.
• We take a bus that takes us to the gates of the Inca Village.
• In the citadel, a personalized guide will take you to tour temples, terraces, palaces, the Priest’s compound, the Intihuatana, the industrial sector and crop fields.
• After the tour, we return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
• In the afternoon, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo and from there, our transportation will take you back to your accommodation in Cusco.
