From Cusco: Maras Moray Atvs – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Cusco – Cruzpata
Pick up from the hotel in Cusco and transfer to the community of Cruzpata, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas (approximate trip of 45 minutes). After a brief training and safety talk by our guides, we will be ready to embark on the adventure.

Moray Archaeological Center
The tour begins on an unpaved road and then we venture along a trail until we reach the Moray Archaeological Complex, an Inca agricultural research center where experiments were carried out with crops at different heights. After a brief visit we will continue our journey towards the Salineras de Maras.

Maras salt mines
On the way to Maras we will observe the Urubamba mountain range and the Verónica and Chicón snow-capped mountains. We will make a brief stop in the town of Maras to appreciate its beautiful square and colonial church. Upon reaching the salt mines we will descend by bus to visit the salt mines. After the visit we will return to Cruzpata, from where we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
