From Cusco: Magic Machu Picchu – Tour 6D/5N + Hotel ?? – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Day 1: Airport pick up – City tour
The tour starts with the pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel, you will have the morning free to rest and acclimatize.
At 2:00 p.m. you will be picked up from the hotel for the city tour, the first place to visit Qoricancha. After 30 minutes by car we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. After our tour we will return to Cusco, approximate time of arrival at 7:00 p.m.At the end of the tour we will leave you close to the historic center.
Day 2: Sacred Valley
We will pass by the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to start the tour of the Sacred Valley, the first point to visit will be Pisac then we will go to Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch.
After lunch we will arrive at Ollantaytambo, then we will go to the train station to board the train to Machu Picchu. At the end of the tour we will leave you close to the historic center.
Day 3: Machu Picchu
Very early we will go to take the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu, where the guide will be waiting for you.
Arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes where you will be explained the informative part of Machu Picchu. Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch. Then we will go to the train station to board the train that will take us to Ollantaytambo.
In Ollantaytambo station, our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.At the end of the tour we will leave you close to the historic center.
Day 4: Salt mines of Maras and Moray
The tour starts with the pick up from the hotel at 8:00 am to go to Maras. After passing through the town of Maras we will go to Moray where the agricultural laboratory is located here we will have a guided tour of 40 minutes.
Then we will visit the salt mines “salineras” we will have a guided tour of about 1 hour.
We will return to the city of Cusco, the approximate time of arrival is 3:00 p.m. At the end of the tour we will leave you close to the historic center.
Day 5: Rainbow Mountain
We will go to the hotel at 4:00 a.m. and travel by car for 2 hours until we arrive in the town of Tintinco, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast. Then we will continue our trip for about 1 hour. Our guide will give us a short instruction to finally begin a hike of approximately 2 hours.
During the journey, we will appreciate a variety of South American camelids, as well as spectacular ecosystems of this place and views of the snow-capped Ausangate.
At 10:30 we will be arriving at Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m) after a view of the place we will begin the descent by the same path to mobility and then return to the restaurant.
Then we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and after a short rest, we will start the return trip to Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m. At the end of the tour we will leave you close to the historic center.
Day 6: Transfer to airport
Depending on the time of your flight, the transportation will go to your hotel to transfer you to the airport.
