From Cusco: Machupicchu + Inti Raymi |Sun Festival| 5D/4N – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Itinerary
Day 1 (June 21)
The transfer from the airport to the hotel, where you will have the morning free to rest and acclimatize, then you will be picked up from the hotel for the City Tour which includes visits to Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay, finishing the tour you will return to Cusco.
Day (June 22)
This day starts a little late, because around 8:00 am you will leave for the Sacred Valley, where you will visit the ruins of Pisaq.
After lunch we will travel 30 minutes by car to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site where we will have a guided tour of 1 hour, highlighting the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Princess Baths and Andean terraces.
After having a guided tour of Ollantaytambo you will go to the train station to board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night and the next day visit Machu Picchu (at night the guide will pass by the hotel to bribdarle all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu).
Day 3 (June 23)
This day you have breakfast at the hotel, then the guide comes to pick you up to take you to the bus stop that will transfer you to the ticket office area, there you will give your entrance tickets and start the tour that lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Then you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch and in the afternoon you will return by the same route, where they will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
Day 4 (June 24)
On the fourth day you will be picked up at your hotel at approximately 7:00 am, from there you will go to the temple of Qoricancha where you will start witnessing the scene of the Inti Raymi, then you will go to the main square in the company of your guide. Finally, you will be transferred in a means of transportation to the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, to appreciate the ceremony to the Sun God in the jubilee month of the city of Cusco, around 4:30 pm, so you can return calmly to your hotel.
Day 5 (June 25)
On the last day, depending on the time of your flight, a shuttle will come to your hotel to pick you up and take you to the airport.
