From Cusco: Machupicchu Full Day Trip by Train – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

A full-day tour of Machu Picchu by Train (all-included) is a quick way to get to know the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu in a single day. As you do not have the necessary time during your stay in the city of Cusco, this option is ideal for you. You will get to know the most important sectors of the Citadel, where one of the most recognized examples of engineering, architecture, assembly, and carving is located. the different streets, squares, ceremonial fountains, and temples, surrounded by abundant vegetation. The citadel is located at the top of the mountain at a height of 2490 meters above sea level. From this point, you can see the mountains such as the HUAYNA PICCHU, the MACHUPICCHU mountain, the PUTUKUSI mountain, and the INTI PUNKU. All of these mountains can be visited on foot, with free time to take photos and thus remember this great adventure. After our visit to Machupicchu, which will last on average 2 and 1/2 hours, we will leave by taking the bus down towards the town of Aguas Caliente and after that, you will be able to choose the best place to eat before taking the train back to the City of Cusco, upon arrival a MINKA’S Travel representative will be waiting to accompany you and drop you off at your accommodation.
